I think I've been playing far too much Barn Buddy lately. I keep having the urge to pull weeds and grow corn. What? You've never played Barn Buddy? WHAT? You've never HEARD of Barn Buddy? Where have you been? This is the hottest thing since sliced bread!

Barn Buddy, it's like electron crack. I tell you, I haven't been this hooked on a game since Super Mario Brothers 3. Basically, it's a farm simulator. I know, it SOUNDS really lame, but it's actually quite a lot of fun. There's a lot to do, and I never feel like I have enough time to do it!

Basically, the premise is you have a farm, you plant seeds, they grow, you harvest and sell the product. Real easy, but just cause it's easy, it doesn't mean there isn't a lot of enjoyment to be had. By planting and harvesting various kinds of plant seeds you can purchase from the shop, you gain experience in the game. Doing so grants you levels. The higher the level you attain, the more of the game you unlock, granting you the ability to purchase a greater variety of items. You can also unlock more of the game by adding neighbors. Neighbors are your facebook friends that also play. By adding them as neighbors, you are able to visit their farms. In your friends farms, you can either help them by fertilizing picking weeds, and killing bugs, or you can hurt them by doing the opposite.

Now, as I mentioned before about what you can do on a friends farm, you can do that on yours too. Obviously you can't sabotage yourself, but who wants to? When you  plant your crops, you must keep an eye on them from time to time, as they will start to attract bugs and weeds. You can combat this problem with the appropriate tools, such as insecticides and weed killer.

With all that said, this game may appear to be a simple browser game on the surface, but it goes a bit deeper than that. It's a lot of fun, and I find myself constantly playing it when I get any free time. You should give it a try!
